Job summary

Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform pediatric MRI studies for radiologist interpretation. The role requires completion of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program and at least 3 years MRI experience across neuro, body, musculoskeletal and vascular imaging.

You will work with anesthesia staff, adhere to safety policies, and maintain ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 3 years MRI experience in pediatric imaging areas.
• ARRT (R) MR; Florida Radiography License; Basic Life Support.
• Strong computer skills across databases and post-processing workstations.
• MRI contrast administration with IV skills.

Responsibilities

• Produces and evaluates images according to defined protocols to assist radiologist with interpretation.
• Adheres to Radiology safety policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintains ongoing education in clinical, family, and patient-centered care.
• Screens for MRI safety and manages contrast administration.
• Supports anesthesia staff during sedation in the MRI environment.
