Job summary

Johns Hopkins Intrastaff is seeking a Pediatric MRI Technologist for Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL to operate MRI scanners and perform diagnostic imaging per physician orders.

This 13-week contract offers competitive pay ($59-$62/hour based on experience) and exposure to world-class clinicians, with ARRT certification, Florida radiography license, and pediatric MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires AMA approved Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT certified with current registration required.
• FL Radiography License required.
• At least 3 years MRI experience, including neuro, body, MSK and vascular areas; 6 months pediatric MRI.
• Experience with Siemens Vida and Sola MRI scanners.
• BLS CPR certification required; PALS and NRP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanners to perform diagnostic exams per physician orders.
• Ensures safe and efficient flow of patients in the MRI area.
• Ensures complete and accurate data entry in RIS and PACS.
• Provides radiologists with images necessary to obtain diagnostic results.
• Orients physicians, residents, staff and student technologists in MRI procedures and safety.
• Assists nursing staff in area and documents in Pyxis.
