Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Motion Analysis Center Engineer to oversee operation, maintenance, and data acquisition supporting clinical care and research. You’ll work with clinicians to design pediatric evaluations, calibrate equipment, and generate reports that meet lab protocols.

The role requires 2+ years in motion analysis or biomechanics and programming in Python or R, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team to advance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical/ mechanical engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years in motion analysis or biomechanics.
• At least 2 years programming experience in Python and/or R.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services to support MAC with motion analysis center services.
• Collaborate with clinicians to design evaluations for pediatric patients.
• Under MAC engineer guidance, help obtain and maintain CMLA accreditation.
• Maintain calibration, data collection, data processing, and report generation.
• Assist development and integration of new clinical programs.
• Train therapists, technicians, students, and volunteers on equipment use and data handling.
• Promote a safe, organized, and collaborative healthcare team environment.
