Job summary

Shriners Children’s is seeking a Motion Analysis Center Manager/Scientist to lead research and clinical innovation in motion analysis. The role collaborates with system engineers, therapists, and researchers to develop new services and initiatives that advance patient care.

You will design studies, manage budgets, submit grants, and publish findings while advancing educational programs for clinicians and researchers within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• PhD, MS or DPT in Physical Therapy, Engineering, Bioengineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain IRB approvals and comply with research policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary motion analysis and quality improvement projects.
• Develop new clinical service lines, technologies, and research initiatives.
• Prepare and submit grant proposals across multi-site projects.
• Manage budgets and provide grant progress reporting.
• Design, execute, and interpret biomechanical and motion analysis studies.
• Develop software tools and databases for motion data collection and analysis.
• Perform statistical analysis and interpretation of research data.
• Ensure compliance with IRB and organizational approvals for human subject research.
• Coordinate with Clinical Research Coordinators and stakeholders.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Present research at conferences and meetings.
• Deliver lectures and training to clinicians, fellows, and staff.
