Job summary

Shriners Children's Motion Analysis Center seeks an Engineer to operate, maintain, and acquire data for clinical care and research within the MAC. You will collaborate with clinicians to support pediatric evaluations and ensure high-quality data output.

Responsibilities include data processing, calibration, and collaboration with Movement Scientists. A BS in engineering and 2+ years in motion analysis are required; MS and experience with computer vision or ML is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in motion analysis and/or biomechanics.
• 2+ years programming experience in Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services to support MAC operations.
• Assist in designing and implementing evaluations for pediatric patients and families.
• Maintain data collection, processing, and reporting per lab protocol.
• Train therapists and staff on equipment use and data collection.
