Job summary

Pediatric Associates is looking for a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist with a pediatric focus. You will greet patients, collect and verify information, handle check-ins/outs, and support billing and patient communications in a multi-location pediatric practice.

Candidate should have at least 1 year in a medical office, be able to maintain patient confidentiality, and possess strong communication skills. A $1000 sign-on bonus is offered for external hires.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office preferred.
• Driver's license active and valid.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients and update demographics and insurance.
• Check-out patients and provide visit summaries and referrals.
• Verify patient insurance and arrange follow-up as needed.
• Post charges and reconcile payments.
• Scan and upload documents.
• Sort mail and maintain waiting area.
• Participate in staff meetings.
