Children’s Orthopaedic & Scoliosis Surgery Associates (COSSA) is seeking an organized Patient Care Coordinator to support our practice, patients, and physicians. The role focuses on administrative tasks, scheduling support, and outbound patient calls—without routine reception duties—across our St.

Petersburg/Tampa area offices. The position requires attention to detail, independent work, and familiarity with EMR systems.

Competenze

• Healthcare administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with medical benefits and EOB statements helpful.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and scheduling software required.

Mansioni

• Reconcile orders and follow up on administrative items.
• Monitor scheduling inboxes and coordinate referrals and requests.
• Place outbound calls to schedule appointments and gather information.
• Route patient portal messages to appropriate staff for action.
• Coordinate communications with brace companies and outside providers.
• Process incoming faxes and index documents in the EMR.
• Identify and resolve routine system errors; escalate complex issues.
• Document actions and communicate with physicians, staff, and patients.
• Provide general administrative support for daily operations.
