Job summary

The Director of the UVM Health Medical Group leads operational execution across the Golisano Children's Hospital at UVMH and affiliated clinics to deliver family-centered care for infants, children, and adolescents in Vermont and northern New York. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business administration, healthcare management, or related field.
• MBA or Healthcare Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of workflows, operational standards and patient quality outcomes.
• Coach and hold supervisors and managers accountable for performance and daily management discipline.
• Achieve budget, staffing, and productivity targets through active oversight.
• Execute patient access initiatives and operational improvements.
• Use data, rounding, and direct engagement to monitor performance and drive action.
• Medical group practice subject matter expertise.
• Track record of achievement in child health operations and academic pediatric administration.
