Job summary

Child Health Associates is seeking an experienced Medical Coder/Biller for our Auburn, MA office. The role focuses on accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and E/M coding to support timely billing and quality patient care.

You will review documentation, ensure CMS and payer guideline compliance, submit claims, and work with providers to improve coding accuracy. The position is full-time and on-site in Auburn, MA.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of medical coding and billing experience with significant E/M coding experience.
• CPC certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and CMS guidelines.
• Experience with EPIC or another EHR system.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS and E/M codes.
• Submit and monitor insurance claims for timely reimbursement.
• Ensure coding complies with CMS and payer guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve documentation and coding accuracy.
• Research and resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies.
• Support providers and staff to improve coding accuracy.
