Job summary

Allegro Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA-C or MA-R) to support clinical operations, coordinate patient flow, prepare patients for exams, and administer vaccines across multiple clinic locations. Training is provided with an employer-sponsored MA-R credential pathway, enabling growth into a Registered Medical Assistant role.

The role requires a 4/10 schedule, 40 hours per week, and a 1.5-year commitment, with opportunities to advance within a patient-centered pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required or higher.
• Ability to obtain MA-R credential sponsored by Allegro Pediatrics.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient rooming and flow in a fast-paced clinic.
• Support providers with procedures and anticipate clinical needs.
• Perform patient intakes, including vital signs and screenings.
• Administer vaccines and single-dose medications.
• Maintain exam rooms and clinic safety standards.
• Communicate with patients and families via phone and portal.
