Allegro Pediatrics in Bothell, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our pediatric care team. The role promotes patient flow, prepares patients for exams, administers vaccines, and supports providers in a fast-paced clinic.

This is a full-time position offering on-the-job training with an on-site pathway to a Registered Medical Assistant (MA-R) credential, with sponsorship by Allegro Pediatrics. Commitment of 1.5 years and a strong focus on safety and patient service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher required.
• Ability to obtain MA-R credential sponsored by Allegro Pediatrics.
• Vaccination and health screening requirements apply.
• Must be 18+ and able to work across clinics.
• COVID and flu vaccinations required; mask-wearing in clinic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient rooming and flow in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Assist providers with procedures and anticipate clinical needs.
• Perform patient intakes, including vital signs, vision/hearing screenings, and documentation.
• Administer vaccines and single-dose medications.
• Clean and stock exam rooms and maintain clinic cleanliness and safety standards.
• Communicate with patients and families via phone calls and patient portal messages.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Exhibit professionalism and sound judgment within the scope of role.
• Participate in ongoing training, projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform lab-related tasks.
• Promote atmosphere of patient care and customer service excellence, respecting patient rights, confidentiality, diversity, and developmental needs.
