PM Pediatric Care in Newark, Delaware, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric urgent care with direct physician supervision. The role combines clinical and administrative duties to enhance patient care and office operations.

You will greet patients, take histories and vital signs, prepare for X-rays, draw blood, and assist with minor procedures while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior Medical Assistant experience or related education.
• Experience with pediatric EKG placement and processing.
• Ability to obtain labs via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Experience in pediatrics preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients on arrival.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform routine labs and document results (venipuncture preferred).
• Irrigate wounds and assist with wound care.
• Assist in lab quality control testing.
• Be part of patient care team within scope of practice.
• Keep exam rooms and front desk stocked and clean.
• Respond to emergencies and notify medical team.
• Assist with splints and medical procedures as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
