Job summary

PM Pediatrics is seeking a Medical Assistant to support pediatric urgent care operations. The role involves patient registration, taking histories and vital signs, preparing patients for X-ray, and assisting in routine labs under physician supervision.

The candidate will help maintain clean exam rooms, assist in patient care, and ensure smooth office operations while delivering excellent customer service to families.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience or education required.
• Knowledge of pediatric EKG placement and processing.
• Ability to obtain laboratory tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs as needed.
• Assist in wound care and quality control testing in the lab.
• Support patient care within the scope of practice under physician supervision.
• Maintain exam rooms and front reception stocked with supplies.
