Pediatric Associates is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support clinical and administrative tasks in a pediatric setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma and MA certification or 1+ year MA experience, plus BLS. The role requires patient care, charting, vaccines, phlebotomy, and EHR duties in a busy clinic.

Sign-on bonus of $1000 is offered for external hires. Travel between offices may occur; strong teamwork and communication are essential for delivering quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• MA Diploma/Certification required or 3 years MA experience.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, maintain safe environment and infection control.
• Record vitals and notify clinician of abnormal findings.
• Interview patients and document medical history and allergies.
• Assist clinicians in exams and procedures under supervision.
• Perform vaccine and med reconciliation with state registry.
• Handle patient follow-ups, calls, refills and referrals.
• Phlebotomy and lab specimen collection.
• Adhere to security policies and protect PHI/ePHI.
