Job summary

Pediatric Associates seeks a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support pediatric patients under clinician supervision, performing clinical and administrative tasks to promote health in a safe, friendly environment.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, MA certification or equivalent experience, and Active BLS. The role requires vaccine-related duties and strong patient communication, with travel to multiple offices as needed. Sign-on bonus available for external hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification required or minimum 1 year MA experience.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality patient experience and safe environment.
• Take and document intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormalities.
• Document patient history, meds, allergies, and records.
• Prepare patient for examination and assist with procedures.
• Perform vaccine/medication reconciliation and education.
• Adhere to vaccine cold chain and storage procedures.
• Handle patient identifiers and vaccine administrations with post-observation.
• Assist with referrals, forms, and follow-up appointments.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing as needed.
• Contribute to quality metrics and proper PPE usage.
• Other duties as assigned.
