Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support clinical and administrative tasks for pediatric patients. The role includes patient intake, vitals, charting, and vaccine administration under clinician supervision.

Qualifications include MA certification, BLS, a high school diploma, and a willingness to travel 15-20% between offices. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external hires.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification preferred; minimum 3 years MA experience may substitute.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Current valid driver’s license required.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and ensure a safe, clean environment following infection control policies.
• Take and document vitals and update medical records with accurate information.
• Interview patients, document medical histories, allergies, meds, and vaccination status.
• Assist clinicians in examinations and procedures under supervision.
• Perform vaccine and medication reconciliation and provide patient education.
• Manage patient follow-ups, referrals, and preauthorizations.
• Perform phlebotomy and lab sample collection as required.
• Adhere to information security policies and protect PHI/ePHI.
