Job summary

Children's Health of Carolina, PA in Pembroke, NC seeks a compassionate Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join our pediatric clinic team. You will support providers, handle patient check-in/out, and assist with examinations in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have RMA or CMA credentials, pediatric experience, and proficiency with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• RMA or CMA with knowledge of pediatric clinical workflows.
• Experience with electronic health records (Athena preferred).
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and assist in a supportive clinic environment.
• Record patient history, vital signs, and document in EHR.
• Assist with examinations and minor procedures.
• Collect specimens and prepare lab samples.
• Administer vaccines under supervision.
• Coordinate appointments and assist with billing and insurance tasks.
• Relay test results to clinicians.
• Guide patients through the facility and explain procedures.
• Maintain stock in exam rooms and sterilize equipment.
