Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to support clinicians in pediatric care. You will handle intake vitals, charting, vaccine reconciliation, and patient education in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Requirements include MA diploma/certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of MA experience preferred. Travel to other office locations may be required as part of designated float staffing.

Qualifications

• Must have MA diploma or certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Experience with pediatric care is a plus.
• Ability to document accurately in medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality team-based patient care under supervision.
• Perform intake vitals and document findings for clinician review.
• Update medical records with accurate histories and allergies.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
• Manage vaccine administration and education to patients/parents.
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols.
• Handle phone inquiries, referrals, and follow-up tasks.
• Maintain proficiency with electronic health records.
