Pediatric Associates seeks a Medical Assistant to support pediatric care teams in a busy outpatient setting. The role conducts direct patient care under clinician supervision, focusing on safety and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include collecting vitals, documenting medical histories, assisting with exams, vaccine administration, lab processing, and coordinating referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MA experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality patient experience; welcome patients; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Record intake vitals: height, weight, temperature, BP, pulse, respiration.
• Document medical history, current medications, allergies, vaccines and notes.
• Assist clinicians in exams and age-appropriate screenings under supervision.
• Perform vaccine and medication reconciliation and education prior to administration.
• Perform phlebotomy and assist with lab specimen processing.
• Support care management and follow-up tasks as needed.
