Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support a fast-paced outpatient clinic in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. You will work with providers and a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care while ensuring smooth clinic operations.

The MA will perform clinical and administrative duties, including vitals, injections, and patient education, in a day schedule with no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program.
• OR completion of a formal medical services training program of the US armed forces OR 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Collect medical histories and perform basic tests.
• Administer intramuscular injections, including vaccines.
• Complete administrative tasks including forms and documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Support team communication and daily huddles.
• Maintain clinical stock and order supplies.
