Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program.
• Formal medical services training from US armed forces or 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical services and flex daily needs per policy and department needs.
• Assist care providers with procedures and examinations of patients.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment; support family-centered care.
• Deliver culturally competent, responsive care and partner with families in decision making.
• Act as customer advocate; respond to parent requests and educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with team; maintain positive relationships and document accurately.
• Manage records per department policy; assist with data collection and consent forms.
• May perform delegated lab testing and communicate results as appropriate.
