Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s Centerville Clinics is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide essential clinical and administrative support in a patient-centered environment. You will assist care providers, help with examinations, and contribute to family-centered care within a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes flexible, culturally competent care, accurate data entry, and adherence to department policies. Part-time schedule, with day shifts and a 24-hour weekly commitment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program AND no directly related experience OR completion of a formal medical services training program of the US armed forces OR 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist providers with procedures, exams, and prep.
• Deliver compassionate customer service and respond to parent requests and concerns.
• Collaborate with team and follow direction to resolve problems and meet goals.
• Maintain patient records and data entry per department policy and documentation standards.
• Support laboratory processes and communicate normal results as delegated.
