Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide competent clinical and administrative support in General Pediatrics. You will assist care providers with procedures, prepare patients for exams, and help ensure care is family-centered and collaborative.

Strong data management and customer service skills are essential. The role supports a Family-Centered Medical Home model with a day shift, full-time schedule, and a 0.9 FTE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a Medical Assisting program or military medical services training preferred.
• No directly related experience may be acceptable with appropriate program completion.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent technical and clinical services and assist with procedures and exams.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment.
• Support family-centered and medical home models of care.
• Manage and maintain patient records per department policy.
• Perform and/or assist with routine laboratory testing and communicate results when delegated.
