Job summary

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Experience preferred: 1 year in clinical support is favorable.

Responsibilities

Prepare and room patients for exams, obtain vital signs, and document health information.
Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
Assist physicians with procedures such as pelvic exams and allergy testing.
Administer routine medications under orders or standing protocols.
Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and communicate with the health care team.
Perform basic clinical support tasks (venous blood draws, EKG, spirometry) under supervision.
