Job summary

Seattle Children's seeks a Medical Assistant to perform individualized patient procedures and assist with clinic operations in a pediatric primary care setting in the Tacoma area.

You will perform clinical tasks, support front-desk and clerical duties, and help maintain smooth clinic flow. This role requires flexibility with Saturday rotations and adherence to DOH CMA standards.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) designation preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform individualized patient procedures, treatments and tests.
• Handle clerical tasks: chart prep, stocking clinic supplies, and answering phones.
• Support clinic operations and monitor patient flow; weekend rotation may be required.

Work Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent experience

Required Credentials

Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation by Washington Department of Health (DOH).
Current Interim Certification through WA State can be substituted for up to 12 months from issue date.
Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
