Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with routine examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and restock supplies.
• Record vital signs and medical histories.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
• Assist with telephone calls, prescriptions, and labs.
• Provide basic medication instructions and follow-up care.
• Perform phlebotomy and CLIA waived testing; observe urine collection.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy compliance.
• Support clinic safety protocols and mobility assistance.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers.
• Obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and maintain positive clinic environment.
• Show willingness to learn and develop new clinical skills.
• Prepare charts including immunizations, discharge summaries, referrals.
