St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and mid-level providers in Florence Pediatrics. You will take vital signs, document patient history, and prepare patients for exams.

Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA and CLIA standards is essential for safe patient care. The role involves assisting with procedures, managing specimen collection, and supporting the revenue cycle with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an MA program or MA externship preferred.
• Preferred: CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA or EMT credentials.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms and collect vital signs.
• Document patient history and maintain accurate charts.
• Assist providers during examinations and administer basic nursing procedures.
• Collect lab specimens and prepare medications as directed.
• Maintain supplies and ensure HIPAA/OSHA/CLIA compliance.
