Job summary

St. Elizabeth HealthCare's Florence Pediatrics SEP is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical support to physicians and mid-level providers, prep patients for exams, and help maintain accurate records.

You will collect vital signs, assist with procedures, administer medications as directed, and ensure OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA compliance while contributing to a compassionate, patient-centered team. This 40-hour, first-shift role offers benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision, a 403(b)

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• One of several established MA/clinical care pathways listed in the qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and record vital signs.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory tests.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain patient charts and complete revenue forms.
• Ensure OSHA/CLIA/HIPAA compliance.
• Triage and process patient messages.
