Nemours Children's Health in Orlando, FL is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant II to join our Central Florida Otolaryngology ENT team. You will support pediatric patients and their families, coordinate visits, and help prepare patients for examinations.

As part of a collaborative care team, you will assist with clinic duties, document clinical information, administer vaccines per protocol, and ensure a positive, child-friendly environment. Travel to Nemours locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant required.
• Certifications CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA accepted.
• Travel to other Nemours locations is required.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for visits by collecting vital signs and histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction and per protocol.
• Collect specimens, perform basic laboratory testing, and prepare equipment.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient, high-quality care.
• Educate patients and families using provider-approved materials.
• Maintain a comforting, child-friendly environment and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver safe, compassionate care.
