Texas Children's Pediatrics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced clinic. You will collect data, assist with examinations, administer medications and document care according to policy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, completion of a medical assistant program, Basic Life Support, and 1 year of related experience. Opportunities to grow within a leading pediatric network.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of medical assistant program or certification not required by licensing body.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Mansioni

• Collect patient/family data including biophysical and psychosocial information.
• Record vital signs, BMI, height/weight with accuracy.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Document treatments and administer medications as directed.
• Educate patients and families to support self-management of health.
• Operate clinical equipment and basic lab tools as needed.
