Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year related experience preferred.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
• Certification options include CCMA, CMA-AAMA, CMA-C, NCMA, NRCMA, RMA variants, EMT licenses in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting patient data including biophysical, psychosocial, developmental and cultural information.
• Record vital signs, BMI, height/weight, and reason for visit with accuracy.
• Prepare patient for examination and assist provider during treatments and testing.
• Document treatments and interventions as directed by the provider.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the physician.
• Support patient education and self-management of health.
