Qualifikationen

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an accredited school (NPCE is acceptable).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant in an outpatient environment.
• Proficiency in medical assisting, pediatrics, appointment scheduling, healthcare, and customer service.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Epic and medical terminology.
• Ability to perform patient care and triage.

Aufgaben

• Perform administrative tasks as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Record up-to-date patient information, medical history, and medication lists in the EMR system.
• Conduct patient vitals and set up rooms and inventory.
• Sterilize reusable instruments.
• Run and verify lab work.
• Assist in answering phones when needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced pediatric environment.
