Job summary

Agave Pediatrics in Scottsdale, AZ is hiring a Pediatric Medical Assistant for a full-time, non-remote position. You will greet families, manage check-ins/outs, perform daily front desk tasks, and help with vaccines and basic in-office lab procedures while ensuring a warm, kid-friendly environment.

You will work with the care team to schedule appointments, triage calls, and maintain accurate medical records in eClinical Works.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
• Keen attention to detail and excellent multitasking skills.
• Bilingual capabilities preferred but not required.
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred but not mandatory.
• Must hold a Medical Assistant Diploma or equivalent certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Handle high-volume patient interactions with superior customer service.
• Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to accommodate patient needs.
• Oversee medical chart management using EMR system.
• Perform front desk duties including check-in and check-out processes.
• Engage in daily opening and closing responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Uphold strong phone etiquette for patient communications.
• Facilitate patient rooming and basic in-office laboratory procedures.
• Administer vaccines and assist with other medical procedures as necessary.
• Conduct triage phone calls to address and escalated patient concerns appropriately.
• Work flexible hours, including some Saturdays, to meet the needs of the practice.
