Job summary

Pediatric Associates seeks an Outstanding Medical Assistant / Lab FLOAT to join our team in Florida. The floater supports clinicians across multiple offices, performing lab tests, phlebotomy, patient intake, and basic clinical tasks under supervision. Flexibility to travel between Poinciana, Loop, and Lake Nona is required.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with two Saturdays monthly; bilingual Spanish preferred. A $3,000 sign-on bonus offered for external new hires.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience.
• MA diploma/certification required, or a minimum of 3 years MA experience.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy.
• Assist clinicians in pediatric exams and vaccinations.
• Travel to float to different locations as needed.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy.
