Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is seeking an Outstanding Medical Assistant / Lab FLOAT to support pediatric care across multiple Florida locations, including Poinciana, Loop, and Lake Nona. The role includes lab work, venipuncture, and patient intake under clinician supervision.

Expect travel between offices and a 90-day new-hire training period, with schedule Mon–Fri 8am–5pm and some Saturdays. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in healthcare, MA certification or 3 years MA

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• MA Diploma/Certification required OR minimum 3 years MA experience; Active BLS.
• Active driver's license required.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory testing procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology and Spirometry.
• Perform phlebotomy including venipuncture, finger sticks, heel sticks.
• Prepare specimens for reference lab send-outs with labeling and billing info.
• Document daily/weekly quality control and instrument maintenance.
• Obtain patient vitals and update medical records with accurate info.
• Assist clinicians in age-appropriate screenings and exams as needed.
• Travel to float between locations within the region to provide coverage.
• Adhere to patient safety, PPE, and privacy regulations.
