Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Homestead, FL is seeking an outstanding Medical Assistant I with a passion for pediatric care. The role supports clinicians in patient care and administrative tasks in a pediatric primary care setting.

The selected candidate will be involved in vital signs, immunizations, and EMR documentation, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred and a $500 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification required or 3 years MA experience.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients; prepare exam rooms ensuring cleanliness, infection control, and supplies.
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical history in the EMR.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians during procedures.
• Administer vaccines and medications using established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and referrals.
