Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies is hiring a Medical Assistant for pediatric care in a fast-paced setting. The role involves direct patient care, clinical support, and administrative duties under clinician supervision.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish and English, possess a High School Diploma with MA certification, and have at least 1 year of MA experience. A $2000 sign-on bonus is offered for external new hires.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required; fluent in both.
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality patient care under clinician supervision for clinical and administrative tasks.
• Take and document intake vitals and notify clinicians of abnormalities.
• Document medical history, medications, allergies, and immunization records.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.
• Vaccine and medication reconciliation and education to patients/parents.
• Adhere to vaccine cold chain management and reporting.
