Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Olympia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join the clinic team. You will work under supervision with physicians and APPs, performing safe clinical tasks and interacting with children and families.

The ideal candidate has WA MA-C certification, at least 1 year of healthcare experience, and a current BLS certificate. This is a day shift, full-time opportunity within a pediatric care setting.

Qualifications

• Washington State MA-C certification required or eligible.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Prepare patients for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection including venipuncture.
• Administer medications per WA DOH regulation and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families.
• Process patient records and referrals as needed.
