Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to join our Physician/APP office team in Gig Harbor. Under supervision of a licensed practitioner, the MA-C will perform safe clinical skills, assist with exams, obtain vital signs and support care for children and families.

Requirements include MA-C certification, Washington State BLS, and at least one year of healthcare experience preferred. This is a 0.75 FTE role with evening shifts and a variable schedule.

Qualifications

• Washington MA-C certification required or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care responsibilities including organizing patient flow, interviewing patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing for exams.
• Assists with procedures, specimen collection, and medication administration as directed.
• Maintains patient records and facilitates referrals and forms.
