Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician/APP office team at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network. You will support clinicians, organize patient flow, and assist with exams, specimen collection and medication administration for children and families.

Required WA MA-C certification and BLS, with 1+ year healthcare experience preferred; day shift, 1.0 FTE, and a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• MA-C certified in Washington state.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ year healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist exams or treatments and collect specimens (venipuncture).
• Administer medications per regulations and verify competency.
• Communicate instructions to patients and families.
• Prepare forms and facilitate referrals.
