Job summary

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for our Pediatrics team in Tacoma, WA. The role involves coordinating patient flow, assisting with exams, collecting specimens, and administering medications under supervision.

A WA MA-C and current BLS are required or preferred, with at least 1 year in healthcare recommended. The position offers a 1.0 FTE schedule, Day shift, Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for eligible new

Qualifications

• MA-C certification required or preferred for position.
• BLS certification current.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in collaboration with front office staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist patients in preparing for exams or treatments.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications per Washington State regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Process patient records, referrals, and forms.
