Job summary

MultiCare Auburn Medical Center in Auburn, WA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for day-shift responsibilities in a physician/APP office setting. This role supports patient flow, assists with exams, collects specimens, and administers medications under supervision.

Qualifications

• WA MA-C (Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified) required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Current BLS certification required or active.”

Responsibilities

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
• Interviewing patients
• Obtaining vital signs
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
• Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
• Relaying instructions/information to patients and their families/caregivers
• Sending and receiving of patient medical records
• Facilitating patient referrals
• Preparing forms for patients
