Job summary

MultiCare Health System seeks a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) for the Pediatric Primary Care team in Auburn, WA. The MA-C will work under licensed practitioners, supporting patient flow, vital signs, exams preparation, and specimen collection, in addition to clerical tasks.

The position requires WA MA-C certification, a minimum of one year healthcare experience (preferred), and current BLS. A sign-on bonus up to $5,000 is offered for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• WA MA-C certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient flow in coordination with front desk staff.
• Interview patients and obtain vital signs.
• Prepare patients for exams or treatments and assist as needed.
• Perform specimen collection, including venipuncture.
• Administer medications per Washington State DOH regulations and competency.
• Relay instructions to patients and families/caregivers.
• Manage medical records transfer and patient referrals.
