Night Shift Differential

Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care at Hopewell in Aliquippa, PA is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to care for medically fragile children in a structured, home-like environment. The role offers 12-hour night shifts with night differential and comprehensive pediatric training from day one.

You will deliver skilled nursing, administer medications, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing education to strengthen pediatric nursing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with current state license.
• BLS/CPR and First Aid cert.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Pediatric setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care to medically complex children.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Monitor changes in condition and respond appropriately.
• Support individualized care plans and ongoing assessments.
• Communicate changes to RNs and physicians; collaborate with the team.
• Document accurately and follow safety standards.
• Assist with admissions, re-evaluations, and care plan updates.
