Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services, through Pediatric Specialty Care (PSC), is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for medically fragile pediatric patients. This role emphasizes compassionate, skilled nursing on 12-hour shifts, with a differential for night hours and a strong focus on family-centered care.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN license, 2–5 years experience with pediatrics, BLS/CPR, and First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as an LPN required.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Current state LPN license in good standing.
• BLS/CPR and First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to medically complex pediatric patients.
• Administer medications and treatments following the 5 rights of administration.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the RN and care team.
• Support individualized care plans and participate in ongoing assessments.
• Mentor Nursing Technicians and support staff on unit.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children and families.
