Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our Lakeland, Florida practice and serve as the office lead. The role offers a four-day work week, with three days 8am-5pm, one day 8am-7pm, and one 1:4 Saturday, plus strong clinical and administrative support.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• ACGME/AOA pediatrics residency completed or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Pediatrics within five years.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS as required for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Lakeland office as the pediatrician-in-charge.
• Work four days per week: 3 days 8am–5pm, 1 day 8am–7pm, plus one 1:4 Saturday.
• Enjoy dedicated administrative time with strong clinical support.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
