Job summary

Pediatric Associates Boynton Beach, FL seeks a Full-time Outpatient Pediatrician Lead to guide clinical care and operations at our Boynton Beach location.

You will provide leadership to clinicians, supervise staff, and work with an EMR system (eClinical Works). A Florida medical license, a pediatric residency, and BLS/PALS credentials are required, with a lead stipend of $12,000 annually.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree required.
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA–approved pediatrics residency.
  • Current Florida medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • Current, unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain in Florida.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics within five years.
  • BLS certification required; PALS as hospital appointment requires.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pediatrician with leadership responsibilities in the practice.
  • Rotated newborn rounding at Bethesda Hospital.
  • No call schedule.
  • Supervision of clinician associates.
  • Recruitment and engagement of new clinicians.
  • Utilize AI Scribe technology to enhance documentation.

Education, Licensure & Certification:
  • M.D. or D.O. degree required
  • Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
  • Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
  • Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State ofFlorida
  • Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
  • Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
