Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our team as the office lead. You will provide compassionate pediatric care across ages from newborns to adolescents and guide clinical operations in a busy practice.

The ideal candidate holds an MD or DO, completed ACGME/AOA pediatrics residency, and holds or can obtain Florida Medical and DEA licenses. Board eligibility or certification within five years is required, along with BLS and PALS as

• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within 5 years of completing training.

Education, Licensure & Certification

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
