Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a Dietitian to provide medical nutrition therapy for patients requiring ketogenic diets in inpatient and outpatient settings. This role focuses on developing and managing individualized ketogenic diet plans, monitoring growth and labs, and educating patients and caregivers.

The position requires a Master's or a Bachelor's prior to 2024, 0-3 years of experience, and Indiana licensure within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required or Bachelor's Degree prior to 2024.
• Registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 6 months of start date.
• Indiana licensure within 1 year of start date.
• Ability to develop nutritional care plans and provide education.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for ketogenic diet in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Develop and manage individualized ketogenic diet oral and enteral feeding plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on ketogenic diet therapy and feeding techniques.
• Collaborate with Neurology, nursing, and other healthcare professionals; maintain accurate documentation.
• Possess on-call capabilities and be available for remote weekend coverage.
