Job summary

Oklahoma Children’s OU Health is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist I for the Pediatric Cath Lab. You will assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a nationally recognized pediatric heart program.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and caregivers to deliver advanced cardiac care for Oklahoma’s youngest patients. Training and growth opportunities are available within OU Health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a health science program defined by ARRT or CCI.
• No prior work experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT(RT), RCES or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Demonstrates knowledge of sterile fields, anatomy, and safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures such as cardiac catheterization and angiography.
• Operate and manage specialized radiologic equipment with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort and clear information.
• Maintain sterile fields and assist during procedures as a scrub tech.
• Ensure proper data transfer, documentation and imaging for reporting.
